True liberty tends to be mistaken as freedom, although their meanings are disparate. Liberty is a condition which emerges from people who are living freely together in society, while on the other hand freedom is more of an inner philosophical and psychological condition. I believe that liberty and self discipline goes hand in hand, the society that we live in today, will come crashing down if self disciple does not coincide with liberty. If we were to live in world without any rules or regulations, the world would turn into chaos because about half of the global population would not even spare a thought about the well beings of others, people would be too invested in fending for themselves. At the end of the day, humans are also animals, we have needs and desires, without any law in place to keep society in check, our world we leave in would turn into a jungle.
