There are some reasons why we suggest someone.

1. To help someone who needs any advice by giving them our personal opinions about something.

2. To help someone facing their problems. When someone doesn't know what to do to, we could suggest them the best way that we would do if we're in his/her position.

3. To help someone decide the best way to solve his/her problem, if he/she is in doubt. So, we could help them in deciding something.

4. We should and must do that as social human beings.

5. We help others so they can also help us whenever we need suggestion.
