PENDAHULUAN

Simple past tense adalah suatu kejadian atau peristiwa yang terjadi pada saat lampau. Keterangan waktu yang biasa digunakan seperti, yesterday, 1 year ago, 3 months ago, etc. Rumus dalam penggunaan simple past tense :

Nominal :

Positif (+) = S + to be (Was/ Were) + Adjective/Noun/Adverb

Negatif (-) = S + to be (Was/Were) + not + Adjective/Noun/Adverb

Introgatif (?) = To be (Was/Were) + S + Adjective/Noun/Adverb

Verb :

Positif (+) = S + Verb 2 (Regular/Irregular) + O

Negatif (-) = S + did + not + Verb 1

Interogatif (?) = Did + S + Verb 1

PENYELESAIAN

a. Kalimat Nominal ( Positif, Negatif, introgatif )

Positif (+) = You were lazy last year (Kamu malas tahun lalu)

Negatif (-) = You were not lazy last year (Kamu tidak malas tahun lalu)

Interogatif (?) = Were you lazy last year? (Apakah kamu malas tahun lalu?)

b. Kalimat Verbal ( Positif, Negatif, Introgatif )

Positif (+) = Mr. Joko bought ten cars yesterday (Pak Joko membeli 10 mobil kemarin)

Negatif (-) = Mr Joko did not buy ten cars yesterday (Pak Joko tidak membeli 10 mobil kemarin)

Interogatif (?) = Did Mr. Joko buy ten cars yesterday? (Apakah Pak Joko membeli 10 mobil kemarin?)

c. Tulis time signal ( keterangan waktu ) yg digunakan dalam simple past tense!

Time signal atau keterangan waktu yang digunakan dalam simple past tense adalah keterangan waktu yang menunjukkan lampau atau telah terjadi. Contoh keterangan waktu dalam simple past tense, 1 year ago, 3 weeks ago, yesterday, 3 minutes ago, last night, last year, etc.
