The covid-19 has been causing cathastrophe around the world. So, technically, this isolation period might not be considered as a holiday, not even for students since they ideally have a schoolwork to do. Here is the sample of recount text for this period of uncertainty.

'Since the first case of corona virus in Indonesia last month, the government swiftly decided to limit the social direct interaction and close down the public places including schools.

At first, I thought I had a long holiday and would have some fun. But, all that good and happy thoughts were over. I still have to do some works from school online. It has kept me busy and bored me at the same time because I have to do the same routine over and over again on weekdays. My parents have been busy too with their work. Yet, at least my mom cooks and bakes for us almost everyday, something she barely did before.

Meanwhile, on weekends, I have nothing special to do except playing board games with my family, cleaning up the house and reading or watching Youtube or movies. It may sound fun to do but when you listen to the news with many negative events happening around us, people dying of covid-19, quiet places, the bad days for business and many lay offs and pay cuts starts to depress me. All I see is bleak about the future if it doesn't end soon. So, I always pray every single day hoping that this all calamity is over soon.'
