Distributif => penyebaran

contoh:

2 × (5 – 3)
= 2 × 5 – 2 × 3

2 × (5 + 3)
= 2 × 5 + 2 × 3

Asosiatif => pengelompokan

2 × 3 × 5
= (2 × 3) + 5 atau 2 × (3 × 5)

2 + 3 + 5
= (2 + 3) + 5 atau 2 + (3 + 5)
