Pollution is a major problem in most cities today in the modern world, either its air, water or sound pollution. Usually, most pollutions are from cities with a high GDP, like America or China.

Pollution is divided to 3 groups, Air pollution, water pollution, and sound pollution.

Air pollution happens when gases like carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide gets released to the atmosphere and damage the ozone layer. This can cause UV light to penetrate the ozon layer, causing holes in the ozone layer. This can cause many problems including global warming, catarac, skin cancer and many other problems.

Water Pollutoon, or known as land pollution is caused by pollutants getting released to the ground, water, river, or soil around it. This causes the water to become dirty and poisonious, and even kill some marine life living in the near rivers and lakes of the pollutant. The water can also poison nearby villages if they have poor infrastructure. This causes poisoning, and even death in some cases.

Sound pollution is caused by the extensive use of loud noises in cities. Usually, you can hear about 20-80 Hz. But above 80 Hz can damage your hearing, but thats what happens in big cities where traffic problems run wild.

So, pollution's major threat is the simple but dangerous Global warming. Global warming is an event where the sun melts the ice caps in the artic regions in the earth, causing sea levels to rise. This causes islands, some inhabited by people, to sink and kill its inhabitants. In fact, The Maldives is predicted to sink due to ocean level rising by the 21th century.
