∠DAE = 40° (alternate segment theorem)

∠ACD = 40° (angles in same segment are same)

∠CAE = 40° + 32° = 72°

then :

∠ACE + ∠AEC + ∠CAE = 180° (angles sum of a triangle)

40° + x + 72° = 180°

112° + x = 180°

x = 180° – 112°

x = 68°
