Change the following direct speech into indirect speech

2. denada asked bagus why he's doing this assigment.

3. nian said (i think you mean "said" right?) to mr.arie that he/she cant do this job tomorrow.

for no.1 and 2, both of them are interrogative sentences. it meant that they're sentences in a form of questions, such as ' you said to him "are you sick today?". thats a direct speech. to make it into indirect speech, you can add "if" but it didnt apply to all question words (like what why etc), like " you asked him IF he was sick".
