Pada exercise ini, siswa diminta untuk menuliskan hal-hal yang bisa dan tidak bisa dilakukan oleh tiga temannya di kelas. Saya disini akan memberikan contoh nama temannya adalah Paijo, Paijah dan Painah.
Paijo
Paijo can do many things. He can write English stories. He can answer some difficult questions, he also can ask questions in English. He is not also good at music. He cannot play the guitar. He cannot sing, too. He can swim and run, but she cannot play football. He can take care of his garden.. He cannot cook.. His hobbies are gardening and running.
Paijah
Paijah can do many things. She can read English stories. She can follow and listen carefully to English movies without subtitle, She is good at music. She can play some musical instruments such as piano, guitar, drum, etc. Although she can play some musical instruments, she cannot sing. She can play badminton. She plays it regularly with her father. She can cook.. She can cook some Indonesian food such as fried rice, opor, rendang, etc. Her hobbies are cooking and playing music.
Painah
Painah can do many things. She can read and write English stories. She contributes in school wall magazine to write some interesting English stories. She is good at music. She can play play guitar and sing. Her favourite song is 'My heart will go on'. She is not good at sport. She cannot play badminton and basketball, but she usually do running in the morning. She can cook fried rice. she always cook fried rice whenever her classmates come to her house. She cannot take care of his family's garden. Her hobbies are writing and reading.

Expressing ability (can) adalah ungkapan yang digunakan untuk menyatakan bahwa seseorang mampu melakukan sesuatu. Untuk menuliskan expression ability, anda dapat mernggunakan form berikut ini:
S + can + verb 1
Contoh:
I can swim this river.
I can lift the table alone.
I can do some houseworks.
Expressing Inability (cannot) adalah kebalikan dari expressing ability. Expressing inability adalah ungkapan yang digunakan untuk menyatakan bahwa seseorang TIDAK MAMPU melakukan sesuatu. Untuk menuliskan expressing inability, anda dapat menggunakan form:
S + cannot + verb 1
Contoh:
She cannot swim.
He cannot lift the table alone.
She cannot do the houseworks.
