Struktur kalimat aktive nya menggunakan simple past. Bisa diperhatikan pada kata kerja -nya "studied" dan time word-nya "this morning."

So, rumus yang digunakan berdasarkan Passive voice of simple past

=> Subject ( object of an active voice ) + tobe (was/were ) + verb 3 + by + Agent ( subject of an active voice )

Penjelasan:

PASSIVE VOICE

  • Dalam penulisan formal, Passive voice menekankan pada tindakan dan obyek yang dikenakan tindakan daripada mengekspose si pembuat perkara.
  • Harap diperhatikan baik-baik, bahwa tidak semua kata kerja yang terlampir dalam kalimat aktif bisa dirubah ke dalam bentuk Passive. Pastikan bahwa kalimat aktif tersebut termasuk transitive verb ( dimana kata kerjanya memerlukan obyek untuk memperjelas informasi ). Passive voice tidak bisa merubah kata kerja tanpa obyek ( Intransitive verb ).  Contoh : Go, sleep, occur, happen .
  • Jika ingin merubah kalimat Aktif ke dalam bentuk Passive Voice, tentukan dahulu subyek dalam kalimat aktif tersebut. Subyek ini akan di posisikan sebagai Agent dalam kalimat pasif. Penerapan By+Agent dapat dihilangkan karena tidak dianggap penting.
  • Selanjutnya, tentukan obyek dalam kalimat aktif . Obyek kalimat aktif akan diposisikan sebagai Subyek dalam kalimat pasif.
  • Harap diperhatikan pronoun nya ( kata ganti orang ). Pronoun akan berubah berdasarkan posisi kelas kata ( parts of speech ) dalam kalimat pasif.
  • Ciri khas kalimat aktif , menggunakan bentuk kata kerja awalan Me-………….,
  • Sedangkan kalimat pasif , menggunakan bentuk kata kerja awalan Di-…………..
  • Perubahan dalam kalimat passive , menyeseuaikan tenses masing-masing , dalam artian tidak merubah informasi yang tertulis pada kalimat aktive nya . Ciri khas penerapan kalimat passive BE + VERB 3 ( past participle )
