The other sold in a sack, weighs 450 g and sold for IDR 48,000. If the tare 8% for the tin
and 4% for the sack, which bean Sena would buy?

Sena compares two types of beans. One sold in a tin, weighs 300 g and sold for ID 45,000.

Jawab:

– 1 tin = 300 g =45.000

tare = 8%x300g = 24 g

nett weight = 300-24 = 276 for 45.000

so, 1 g = 45.000/276 = 163.04

-1 sack = 450 g = 48.000

tare = 4%x450g = 18 g

nett weight = 450-18 =432 for 48.000

so 1 g = 48.000/432=111,111

if Sena would buy the cheaper one, she should buy beans in a sack
