Answer: The text is about description of elephants. There are many ways to describe elephants.
- Describe appearance: menggambarkan secara fisik misalnya menyebutkan warna mata, tinggi, warna rambut dan sebagainya contohnya: Elephants are the heaviest land animals.
- Describe Character: menggambarkan karakter/personality misalnya, kind, clever, patient, contoh kalimat: They are also intelligent and have good memories.
- Describe mannerism: menggambarkan how they speak, walk etc. contoh kalimat: They use their long trunks almost like arms to put food and water in their mouths.
- Describe feeling: menggambarkan perasaan seseorang terhadap sesuatu

3. What tense is used in the text
Answer: The tense used in the text is a simple present tense.
4. Why does the text use such a tense?
Answer: We use simple present tense in a descriptive text because it is talking about general truth and habit. How to form a simple present tense?
There are many rules to form a simple present tense:
- if the subject I, we, they the verb would be verb-1 such as like, love, go, need, etc
